Last week we enjoyed the wilderness of the Adirondack mountains with an incredibly peaceful camping trip. We went back to the same spot we camped in last summer, about a half hour from Lake Placid. Last year's highlight was hiking the most vertical, intense mountain I've ever climbed, but this year's highlight was definitely the canoeing.
We really enjoyed exploring this uninhabited island where we ate lunch and lazed around in the complete silence.
This pretty much sums it up.
